EDC Programmer

FULL JOB DESCRIPTION:
Our client is looking for a strong technical person/programmer to hels them strengthen their position in the market. You responsibility is quite imperative for the company and are outlined below.

Key responsibility

  • To analyze user’s request and to prepare the software function and specification for software system solution.
  • Responsible for technical tasks, ranging from those that are simple to complex ones as well as solving any problems that may arise.
  • To create new drivers tools from the hardware specification and to modify the existing software operating system in accordance with other requests.
  • To investigate any software related problems which may arise and come up with suggestions for improvements.
  • Being diligent and meticulous in finding faults/problems in the specification as well as the software requirement statements; and come up with the appropriate recommendation.
  • To create test application and put it to use.
  • Working together with the product testing team to solve any software related problems.

Key requirement

  • Degree in Computing or IT.
  • Min 2 yrs in software development.
  • Proficient in C/C++, Visual Basic, SQL HP and Java.
  • Must understand basic knowledge of ISO 8583, ISO 7816, multithreading, shared memory management, socket programming.
  • Good communication skills, both written and spoken, especially in English.
  • Possess positive work attitude, proactive and initiative.
  • Ability to work under minimum supervision as well as in team.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
